What about Ubbley Drove for a National (or somewhere like it) has a crackin circuit for people to give their big bikes a run around and a large area to camp in
Lets go west.
Align the nationals timing with next years charity ride, then we all have an excuse to visit the Emerald Isle!
Just a thought, before people become set on the idea of the east being the area for next years gathering.

Let's keep a range of events.
The first national was in Wales. Then we went to Dent, Yorkshire, then Dartmoor and now Scotland. In order to enable as many as possible to attend, somewhere east and reasonably mid-to south seems most likely.
Having to go so far north into Scotland already seems to have reduced numbers for this year's national (though I'm going, from south London). Dartmoor was too far for many of our Scottish members last year (though good to see the hardcore tartan army there).
It is always a compromise and a lot of factors have to be considered when trying to find a suitable venue.
As Sharrie says the Wales invasion has proved popular, as have past Haggis runs. Our London Calling days have also been well-attended (perhaps we need to make a weekend of one of them?). Other regional meets seem to be popular too - I certainly hope to make one of the Jelly's meets one day.
But the National is meant to be just that - a national meet, so while we do look to move around the country, we are also always trying to make it as accessible as possible to as many as possible.

I didn't dream it, there is a campsite in Epping Forest. And judging by the review, groups that make noise into the night and have fires are welcome
May have to venture over for a look.
